Job Title: Sales/Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales/Marketing Manager will assume a lead role in generating account revenue by assisting in the sales efforts, establishing additional relationships and identifying activities necessary to increase market penetration in North and South America. This will include identifying potential customers and OEM´s that have requirements for MTII´s products or technologies in a variety of different industrial settings, identifying new applications and performing marketing research that details potential applications, customers and anticipated financial returns for the company. In addition, the Sales/Marketing Manager will work closely with internal personnel to expand the market awareness of the company by presenting papers at technical conferences, writing application notes for inclusion into trade magazines, developing newsletters and monthly mailings and identifying marketing activities necessary to increase brand awareness.

A Technical or Engineering degree with 5+ years of experience in technical sales and customer support and a solid understanding of electronic instrumentation and operation is required. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in applications support, product training, sales prospect qualification and management of channel partners. Experience in product advertisements, application notes, newsletters and web site management is a plus.
