Microtrak II

Microtrak II
Can automating your process improve product quality, reduce scrap material and increase your company’s image? If so, the Microtrak II may be the tool for you.

The Microtrak II high speed laser sensor is capable of precise, on-line measurements of displacement, position, vibration and thickness. It features state-of-the-art CMOS laser technology which is up to 4 times faster than traditional CCD sensors, making it ideal for closed loop control and process automation applications. The CMOS detector is unaffected by surface texture and color, and the built-in auto-gain circuitry allows measurements of high reflective and dull surfaces without adjustment. This flexibility has been proven in automotive, medical, aerospace, government and research applications.

Application Tip

Capacitance measurement systems can produce sub nanometer resolutions. To achieve this level of performance a good electrical ground return from the target being measured is required. A maximum 1 kOhm impedance in the ground return path is recommended. If this is not possible our proprietary Push/Pull™ capacitance systems should be considered.
