Next month MTI Instruments will introduce a complete family of standalone Microtrak II laser triangulation sensors that operate without a controller, making them ideal for cost effective OEM, process control and production applications. In the past controllers were required for signal processing and linearization correction to obtain the high resolution they are known for. Not any more!!! The Microtrak II offers all this and measurement ranges to 300mm, sub-micron resolution and frequency response to 20 kHz.

If powerful data acquisition, signal monitoring, alarm capabilities and graphical displays are desired, the proven Microtrak II easily interfaces with EVE™, MTII's newest monitoring system.

Did you know that, in addition to making precise measurements of displacement and vibration, the MTI-2100 and MTI-2000 Fotonic sensors can also be used to precisely measure edge position? Remember, edge detection is independent of surface reflectance or edge geometry, eliminating the need to calibrate on each specific target.
