Never Before Have All These Features Been Available In A Single Instrument

MTI ProductOur customers say the new 1510A Precision Signal Source from MTI Instruments is the hottest thing they’ve seen in a long time. Listen to what one user said the first time they used it:

I've gotta tell you - I used my new MTI 1510A signal source to calibrate an instrument this morning......that thing is really slick! My regular cal equipment was down, and I wondered how I was going to set up a test cell. Then I remembered my new 1510A …Yeah, that thing pretty much rocks!

LOOK MA! – Calibration with No Hands!

Want to make your technicians smile? What if there was a way to calibrate an instrument automatically? What if the tech only had to connect a few cables, launch a software Wizard and walk away? What is it worth to be able to calibrate that test cell vibration system in-place – without removing it from the rack or opening the case? What if the solution didn’t cost you the equivalent of that technician’s annual salary? You’d be interested, wouldn’t you?

Well – that day has arrived. If you’re calibrating your PBS-4100+ vibration systems, just take a look at this Application Note...

Application Tip

Keep those connectors in good shape. By far, the most common problem our repair technicians see is damaged cables and connectors. Cables live a hard life on the flight line – they get dropped, dragged, run over, and have to work in rain, snow, dirt, oil and fuel.

So, treat those cables with respect. Keep them clean; don’t kink the cable, don’t drag the connector across the tarmac. Check the connector backshells and strain reliefs to be sure they have not loosened. Check the pins and sockets to be sure none are pushed back.

You may find those problems eventually – but, with a little periodic care, you won’t first discover them during an engine run.
