High Temperature Capacitance Probes
MTI manufactures High Temperature capacitance probes able to widthstand 1200ºF (650ºC). The probes are made form Inconel and ceramic high temperature materials. A 40 inch (1m) integral 0.06 inch (1.5mm) diameter hardline inconel coax cable transitions from the probe to an intermediate BNC connector. Longer lengths of standard teflon coaxial cable may be added to reach the Accumeasure amplifier.
MTI's high temperature probes are ideal for testing applications such as hot brake rotors, turbine shafts, or bearings that get above our standard maximum probe temperature of 400ºF (205ºC). Either choose from our standard high temperature probes or contact MTI for custom application solutions.
